Beyond the regular Missions Ministry Team supported missions, there are other great ministries that individuals in our church are supporting. Some of these have hands-on ways for us to get involved. Here are a few other missions you could support or get help:

Options for Women -Pregnancy Help Clinic

-Medical clinic offering hope to women who are experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Their mission is to erase the need for abortion through effectively serving pregnant at risk women, by transforming their fear into confidence.

Their patients are counseled about the options of parenting and adoption. They are also fully informed about abortion and its risks and side effects. They provide them with the all the information they need so they can choose life for their unborn babies. To refer someone you know that may need our services, have them visit us at www.optionsforwomenphc.com or call 863-393-6988. All of the services we offer our patients are free of charge. To support this mission, you can make a donation at www.optionsforwomeninfo.com.  There are ways to volunteer or contribute needed supplies- Contact Marilyn Paul, executive director and a member of Legacy Christian Church.

M.A.S.A.Florida - Mission Aviation Support Association http://www.masafl.org/

Lakeland's Sun-'n Fun is an excellent event for mission aviation organizations to engage pilots and the aviation public. The Sun 'n Fun International Expo is the 2nd largest aviation event in the world. Held here is Lakeland, with more 80 countries represented, MASA knew it would be a valuable time to present mission aviation to the public and aviation enthusiasts.  Without help these mission groups cannot afford to send their missionaries, so MASA helps by connecting local churches to provide meals, lodging, transportation, and a venue on the Sun 'n Fun grounds to share about their ministries. Legacy is one of many churches supporting this venture by cooking meals, providing housing, and ground transportation for the missionaries. This event is held every spring in March or April. Information is usually on the Mission's bulletin board and the church bulletin.

Project Mission Inc. - Curt and Eve Morelock (longtime members of Legacy) have a heart for missions; specifically they focus on missions in the Philippines, where Eve still has family. They have had a long time involvement with Cebu Bible Seminary - a restoration movement Bible college where Curt received a Doctor of Divinity. Cebu Bible Seminary "faithfully trains men and women to be leaders in Christ's church."  Curt and Eve has actively preached, taught and evangelized in the Philippines during extended visits over the past few years. They have also traveled to India to preach at North Liberty Christian School. Please pray for them to have the strength and good health to continue this ministry.
