The purpose of the Missions Ministry is to support missions that are based on Restoration Movement Theology and are actively equipping believers, training local disciples, and sending out indigenous ministers.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely, I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.
(Matthew 28:19-20)
The Mission Committee meets monthly and actions are submitted to the church Elders and staff for final acceptance on matters regarding
LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE.
Legacy supports some ministries prayerfully and financially each month. Our relationship with the organizations and ministries may also enable us to visit and work with them in person at times.
Legacy’s missions budget is automatically 10% of our general offerings. We view it as a tithe of our congregation–as God has blessed us, we desire to be a blessing to the Kingdom.
